How to Use Validate Quest

The Validate Quest feature is designed to thoroughly examine your quest for potential technical problems before you proceed with its publication. It checks for issues that could hinder the publishing process, such as the absence of page breaks before routed questions, questions lacking answer alternatives, or missing GDPR information.

Using Validate Quest:

To validate your quest, go to the Test & Publish tab and press the Validate Quest button:

 

Types of Messages:

The Validate Quest function provides two types of messages upon identifying issues: Errors (in red) and Warnings (in yellow).

  • Errors: Must be corrected before you can proceed with quest publication.
  • Warnings: While significant, can be disregarded if they are deemed irrelevant to your quest.

Validate Quest gives two types of messages when uncovering issues, either an Error or a Warning

When available, the quest validation will note what could be done and suggest to Autofix the issue for you:
